The process involves taking a digital picture of your prepared tooth. The 3D software converts that photo into a three dimensional virtual model of your tooth. Our dentist then designs your restoration while you wait.
When our dentist is finished, he selects a ceramic block the same shade of the tooth being repaired. Your restoration is then manufactured by the milling unit into the shape designed by the dentist. The milling process generally takes between 8 and 18 minutes to complete. Once your crown is finished, our dentist polishes it and gently bonds it into place.
