Bonding

Cosmetic PhotosCosmetic Photos

Cosmetic bonding is when a tooth colored resin is bonded to your teeth, then sculpted into the proper shape. The composite resin forms a durable, stain-resistant surface that can be polished to mimic the texture of your natural teeth.
Bonding is used to straighten teeth, close spaces between teeth, whiten stained teeth, and replace missing pieces of teeth.

PROCEDURE
In most cases, bonding requires only one visit. To bond to tooth, the surface of the tooth is etched, and then a soft, pliable resin is spread over the tooth in layers and is hardened with the help of a very bright curing light. Each layer hardens in seconds. The bonded material is then shaped and polished.
